I stayed here 10 yrs ago and despite staying in the cheap seats but being part of this landmark it was wonderful OMG what has happened, the place is not what it tells the world it is The breakfast floor dirty, staff are so slow to attend to anything. I know it's the Indian charm but seriously.... Above all its just not what it was, more non residents visiting meaning less space for people staying . We changed rooms 3 times in a day due to noise issues, housekeeping don't replenish after 2 days of no housekeeping ( to save the planet) Won't ever stay again and do not recommend it. Met a couple who had the same experience of me and checked out earlier and stayed someplace else. Wish I had.

Beautiful rooms at the Tower and we had one facing the Gateway of India on the 19th Floor. The kids loved the space and little surprises for them in the room. We celebrated my dad's birthday and they had a red carpet laid for him with flowers, balloons and cake and also took a picture which they presented to them later in the day. The staff are so caring and Shamiyana has he best spread of Breakfast and they are all so flexible
